Dyad

The Dyad is a process of communication cycles between two people, listening without judgment using ‘WHO AM I' self-inquiry.  This yoga meditation is combined with modern, western techniques of non-judgemental listening and honest communication.

A communication format to direct consciously knowing who you are will allow you to break communication barriers, really grow in your own chosen direction, connect and discover your normally deep hidden true self. Direct Conscious Knowing of who you are does not come about through a process of figuring it out, giving answers, intellectualizing, thinking, imagining or feeling.  IT IS DIRECT CONSCIOUS KNOWING OF THE TRUTH OF YOU."

Group Practice

In a one-day group practice, we will practice Dyad technique to communicate your insights and increase consciousness to others.  To become very conscious of yourself and the other participants and what they and you are experiencing.  You can see, feel and experience the increased openness building between you and your partners.

It is conducted in a safe, supportive environment that encourages honesty, authenticity, contact, understanding and a deep meditative self-reflection.

History

The Dyad Process was created by  Ava Berner, and in particular the WHO AM I Enlightenment Dyad Technique that is used in the Enlightenment Intensive that was first identified by Charles Berner in 1965. It has spread around the world by word of mouth from one person to another who found it of value. There never has been a corporate headquarters or corporate marketing program organizing its dissemination. It has been taught and shared and continues to be transmitted that way because it is a useful, effective and powerful transformational process. It spread around the world, relatively rapidly, decades before the internet, email and the social networking websites of FaceBook and Twitter. A major seed spreader for the dyad process was the spiritual community of the new age teacher and guru, Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh, who later changed his name to Osho.

Enlightenment Intensive

When asked “Who are you?”, most people probably have uncertainty about who they are. People may speculate,  think, and theorize an answer to the question, "Who am I". They may accept the answers of some psychologist, philosopher or religious leader.   They may come to a conclusion or reach a decision or glean an insight.  But few individuals have directly experienced their own true nature even though it's been sought after by countless millions of people throughout the centuries. The experience is known as self-realisation or enlightenment.

The Enlightenment Intensive is arranged so that you can focus on a single pointed purpose to keep you alert so you can aim at enlightenment. Your day is spent doing the Enlightenment Intensive practices.  This includes the enlightenment dyad meditations, walking and movement meditations, sitting meditations,  breath awareness meditations and physical exercise meditations.

At Omah Hening, we all learn and practice together in a safe environment.
